Circle Tour Highlights

We traveled around the lake from June 4-11 and these were our highlights: Gooseberry Falls, the driving in the U.P. and Ontario, The Old Rittenhouse Inn, Apostle Islands Cruise, the fish fry at the Ramada in Hurley, Glensheen Mansion and staying at the South Pier Inn, in Duluth. Superior Country lived up to its name for our second complete circle tour!

We took two weeks to circle Lake Superior this summer and had fun everywhere we went eating whitefish, poutine, pasties and blueberries and blueberry pancakes. We bought thimbleberry jams from the Jam Lady and at Jampot in Eagle River/Eagle Harbor, MI. We had a fun time riding the boat at the Soo Locks. The boardwalk in Sault Ste.
