Some of My Favourite Places

I started the Circle Tour on Aug. 10 and completed it Aug. 17 of 2014. Some of my favourite places on the tour were Lake Superior Provincial Park – specifically Agawa and Old Woman Bay, camping at Pancake Bay Provincial Park and Neys Provincial Park, Palisade Head and the Apostle Islands. I would love to receive the certificate of completion and the decal. Thanks so much! Ann Marie Sheehan, Loretto, More

Camped Most of the Way

We recently completed the Circle Tour for the second time! We were gone for 9 days, 8 nights and camped most of the way around the lake. Our trip was June 28-July 6, 2014, and we went clockwise around the lake starting and ending in Canal Park. Our favorite campground was Neys Provincial Park. We love the UP but Duluth and Minnesota’s North Shore will always be our favorite destination around More

All in All, a Super Trip

We left Duluth on June 12 towing our camper and two dogs. First stop was Cascade River State Park just south of Grand Marais, MN. Nice park but no electrical hook ups. Next was Marie Louise Lake Campground in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Again, a nice park however the electrical hook up was quite a way away from our camper so we ended up “renting” a power cord for $100. More

Our Trip Around Lake Superior

Starting on July 2, 2013, my husband and I made the trip around Lake Superior. Starting from Milford, Michigan, we entered Canada at Sault Ste. Marie. We spent the first two nights at Lake Superior Provincial Park, tent camping at the Agawa Bay campground. We loved the quiet, no-radio sites, hiking to the waterfalls on the Sand River and seeing the pictographs at Agawa Rock. From there we drove to More

Best Trip We Have Ever Made in Our RV

We had a great time doing the Circle Tour. We made it a wonderful family caravan camping trip, which our son-in-law and daughter planned in January. We laughed that the fog off the lake made us feel like we were traveling in the clouds. We loved Kakabeka Falls, the Amethyst Mines and Fort William. We stopped along the roadside and built a Inukshuk family from the rock, which I think More

The Entire Trip Was a Blast

We traveled clockwise around Lake Superior starting on September 3, 2012, and finishing on September 8. We started in Northern Wisconsin, and took the Highway 13 loop to see Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Stopped at several state parks on the north shore of Minnesota and camped at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. Spent three days in Canada, camping at Sleeping Giant, Neys and Lake Superior provincial parks. Also stopped More

Highly Recommend to Anyone

I would like to join the Lake Superior Circle Tour Club. Both my wife and I decided to drive part way across Canada. But when looking at the maps we decided that we would drive around Lake Superior as part of this adventure. We only found out about your club when we were in Duluth. We live in Riverview, New Brunswick, and took 10 days to get to Sault Ste. More

Missing Our Vacation Already!

We recently completed our circle of Lake Superior. What a wonderful time we had … the north side of Lake Superior in Canada was by far our best experience ever!! The Neys Campground was the best campground we have ever stayed at! The staff were very helpful and friendly, as well as the campground itself was extremely clean, especially the shower/bathroom facilities! Missing our vacation already! Can’t Wait to Go Again!

Copper Peak Adventure Park, Copper Harbor, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (especially the log slide), Neys Provincial Park, Pebble Beach and Fort William. Many Highlights

August 19-September 4, 2011. My wife and I and our dog, Lacey, enjoyed a great trip going clockwise around Lake Superior. We camped at several campgrounds including Twin Lakes Sate Park in Michigan; Amnicon Falls, Wisconsin; Sleeping Giant, Neys and Agawa Bay in Ontario; and then back to Straits State Park in St. Ignace, Michigan. There are many highlights to the trip. Our favorite was sighting a bear that had More
