We Loved Spotting Wildlife

We travelled from June 10-20, 2012. We particularly enjoyed the Apostle Islands, Pictured Rocks and Sleeping Giant. My husband was able to get some kayaking worked into the schedule in some very beautiful locales. We liked the remoteness of the drive, especially on the Canadian side. Many Highlights

August 19-September 4, 2011. My wife and I and our dog, Lacey, enjoyed a great trip going clockwise around Lake Superior. We camped at several campgrounds including Twin Lakes Sate Park in Michigan; Amnicon Falls, Wisconsin; Sleeping Giant, Neys and Agawa Bay in Ontario; and then back to Straits State Park in St. Ignace, Michigan. The Trip Was Spectacular

We began the journey on Friday, July 1, 2011, and finished the journey on Tuesday, July 5th. The trip was spectacular! It included driving through clouds of mist in the mountains near Marathon, Ontario, passing a bear on the roadside in Northern Ontario and dodging several deer in Michigan. One of My Favorite Vacations

In October of 1999, a friend from Chicago and I took one of my favorite vacations ever – we drove around Lake Superior!
