Loved every minute of it! The Canadians were very friendly and helpful! Beauty everywhere and so much to see. Will do it again someday! Jane & Dave, Ontonagon, MI
Our most memorable vacation ever! We found friendly people living all around the lake. It’s difficult to pick out a favorite spot, but I guess mine was seeing the spherical rocks of the lakeshore near Terrace Bay. Rita’s favorite was the walking suspension bridges of Eagle Canyon. We will be making that trip again soon! Paul Kamps & Rita Gahagan, Middleton, WI
We had an amazing time. Ken Jurkiewicz, Sterling Heights, MI
We decided to wait until October in hopes of seeing good color. Mostly what we saw, was rain. Oh wait! One day it snowed. We started our trip off in Roscommon, MI, about 100 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge. When we entered into the UP heading west, it was a downpour and a major road detour with lots of traffic. We made our way west and then headed north More
Best and most amazing was the gondola ride and deck view at the Lutsen mountains, colors were superb the view was fantastic weather was warm. Lunch was great with a glass of wine. Barbara Tardiff, Cornell, MI & Anne & Kathryn Stumpf, Baraga, MI
We started at Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan and went clockwise. Our first night we stayed at the lighthouse at Whitefish Point. It was lots of fun staying the the quarters of the crew! Then we proceeded on to Munising. Disappointed that our cruise was rained out, but made up for it by going to the Quincy Copper Mine on our way up to our next stop in Copper Harbor. More
We went clockwise from Duluth. Saw Superior with white caps, waves breaking and sparkly quiet. I’d say our favorite was riding on the boat to see Pictured Rocks! Roger & Debbie Miller, Garden Grove, CA
We set out on a cool and rainy fall day, Oct. 1, for the 300 mile trek to Duluth to begin our retirement celebration vacation. Being a teacher, I never had the opportunity to take an extended trip in the fall and I love the beautiful fall foliage so this was a trip I had been yearning for! I also love waterfalls so that was my “goal” – to hike, More
We traveled relatively quickly circled in just 5 days. Loved the fall colors and beautiful scenery. We even saw 2 moose between Wawa and Marathon. Eric, Denise and Justin Arthur, Hammond, WI
