Touring in the Rain

We decided to wait until October in hopes of seeing good color. Mostly what we saw, was rain. Oh wait! One day it snowed. What a thrill!

We started at Sault Ste. Marie in Michigan and went clockwise. Our first night we stayed at the lighthouse at Whitefish Point. It was lots of fun staying the the quarters of the crew! Then we proceeded on to Munising. Disappointed that our cruise was rained out, but made up for it by going to the Quincy Copper Mine on our way up to our next stop in Copper Harbor. More

Our Retirement Celebration Fall Tour

We set out on a cool and rainy fall day, Oct. 1, for the 300 mile trek to Duluth to begin our retirement celebration vacation. Memorable Trip with Friends
