The Big Lake. We did it!

A most amazing trip, we started from home in the Seattle area in late May pulling our little teardrop T@b 320S and headed for the bucket list destination of a lifetime, Lake Superior! From Duluth northward, we headed to Thunder Bay for sauna and the Finnish restaurant, Hoito, and were enchanted, well fed and squeaky clean to boot. Incredible waterfalls along the way and scenic vistas. We entered back into the US at the Soo, traveling west to Ashland, then northeast to the Keweenaw Peninsula, and my Yooper roots. 12 days to explore the Copper Country and then to Pictured Rocks, Whitefish Point Lighthouse and museum, past Tahquamenon Falls and south. An adventure of a lifetime, no bugs, no kids since all were still in school, great sleeping weather, and God’s mercy on us driving all that way, over 7K miles in total and 7 weeks Time. My wife and I are still on speaking terms. …..married nearly 40 years now. The trip was great. We highly recommend it.
