I don’t know if this counts, but when I was 10 years old (1958) my dad got a new Oldsmobile and he and my mom, my aunt and uncle and a cousin drove around Lake Superior one summer. I have a few memories of the trip. Near the end I remember things were getting a little tense between my dad and my uncle (who had some anger issues and was a little abnormal). After days together in car it was to be expected. I also remembering staying at a nice cabin on the banks of the Montreal river (I think). We could walk directly to the shores of Superior or cross the road and go up the river to a damn where my dad did some fishing. Would like to take the trip again. In any event it’s nice to know there is such an organization. Good for you!!
