One of our most memorable experiences was talking with the Canadian teachers at the Quebec Lodge in Red Rock, Ontario. We also liked Aguasabon Falls, Pukaskwa National Park, White Fang Motel and Kinniwabi Pines Restaurant in Wawa. We enjoyed Grand Marais, Minnesota as well. Jeffrey Swiggum & Lori Smetana, Madison, Wisconsin.
Some of our favorite spots: Pictured Rocks, The Fishbasket in Munising, MI, Laurium Manor Inn in Laurium, MI. We loved the Soo Locks as well as the Lockview Restaurant there. In Wawa, ON, the Kinniwabi Pines Restaurant was great! In Lake Superior Provincial Park, the Agawa Pictographs were well worth the rugged hike. Also a great hike in Pukaskwa National Park. We had an excellent stay at the Quebec Inn More
Took our time on our trip starting and finishing at the Sault. Can’t believe that there is that much beauty left in the world. Jerry and Beth Litke, Stevensville, Michigan
Lake Superior is, from my perspective, the best of all the Great Lakes Circle Tours. The views are fantastic, the roads are good to excellent, and the people you’ll meet are friendly and engaging. The highlights of my solo motorcycle trip were Whitefish Point and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon Falls, the Pictured Rocks Cruise, the ride up the Keweenaw Peninsula to the top of Brockway Mountain, the ride More
We had a marvelous time! We rented a RV and took a leisurely pace exploring the phenomenal beauty along the way. We especially enjoyed the provincial parks. Randy & Mary DeLap, Rhinelander WI
We traveled from September 11 – September 20, 2017 and our favorite places were the Copper Mines in Michigan and Amethyst Mines in Thunder Bay. Batchawana Bay and The Lake Shore Salzburger Hof was a great restaurant. Patrick & Judith Jozwiak, Michael Jozwiak and Robert Jozwiak, Cudahy, Wisconsin
This was an amazing, never-to-be-forgotten excursion. There are so many sights to see and special things to do. Everyone should do this in their lifetime. Mike & Shirley Anderson Appleton, Wisconsin
Started our trip from Marquette MI, took side trip to S.t Ignace, Mackinaw City and the Island. Got back on track and headed to Sault Ste. Marie, where we went on Soo Locks boat tour, which was great. After boat trip we happened upon a great bar in Sault Ste Marie “The Wicked Sister”, great food and friendly service. Next day we had reservations for the Agawa Canyon Tour Train More
There were nice, sunny days and we stopped all along the way…we enjoyed them all! The overlooks of the Lake were great, but the best was Split Rock Lighthouse. Joe & MaryEllen Vilcek, Rhinelander, WI
