My husband, Bob, and I took 15 days to do the Circle Tour so that we could explore some of the beautiful parks along the way. We went from Aug. 28 to Sept. 11 and spent from 1-3 nights in each place which worked out for our exploring.
The Discovery Charter Cruise was wonderful. The captain has lots of history which he shares and he seems really happy about sharing the history.
One thing that you might want to mention to others is the Canadian Geographic Eco Tours that are available online for Ontario. We printed them all out and found them very helpful for geology, history and places to visit and hikes to take.
The train from Wawa was interesting on the trip North, but coming back a little boring without something else to like read or sleep.
We found that the Houghton Falls in the Keweenaw Peninsula are an exquisite gem. They are easy to get to and very unique. The Crystal Creek falls outside of Sault Ste. Marie in Kinsmen Park are truly lovely and should be mentioned.
By the way, I should have mentioned that we had carefully read the Lake Superior Travel Guide before going and along the way. Also we have been receiving your magazine since it was started, because my mother started sending it to us when we lived in Florida. I am sure it helped us to move here and we love being here.
