Hello there. My husband and I just did the tour last week on motorcycles. The scenery was breathtaking! We both loved the Minnesota side the best. Because we were on motorcycles, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the parks, but we did camp in one near Silver Bay. The sites were spacious and there were decent facilities. The waterfalls along the highway were stunning! We stayed at the McKenzie Inn outside of Thunder Bay near 587 our second night. Nice room, good food and friendly staff. Ouimet Canyon is a must see! From there, we rode to Wawa and stayed there for the night. From Wawa, we rode to Newberry Michigan. Riding through the Lake Superior Provincial Park was spectacular. We stopped at the Pictograph site and ventured onto the ledge for some up close viewing. The guides at the site were very informative about the rock. All in all, it was a fabulous trip. Lots of gorgeous scenery and places to visit.
