We started our trip on the motorcycle going clockwise around Lake Superior, so the water would always be on our right side. We camped all the way around. The Circle Tour book was very handy to flag points of interest. We really enjoyed the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum at Whitefish Point, Quincy Mine Tour and Split Rock Lighthouse. The ride around the Keweenaw Peninsula was especially lovely. The best by far scenes of Lake Superior is the Canadian side from Nipigon to the Sault. The scenery is breathtaking. Stop at Pukaskwa National Park, the trails are absolutely fantastic. While in Sault Ste. Marie, we did the Soo Lock Tour. Highly recommended. It was a great trip.
