A True Treasure

We took our tour clockwise in August of 1993 as we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We did many tourist stops along the way (Fort William Historical Park – Amethyst Mines – Lake Nipigon – White River and Winnie the Pooh – St. Ignace/Mackinac Island – Copper Harbor – F.J. McLain State Park – Madeline Island) and many other side trips. We spent nine days taking the trip and the weather was awesome for the entire trip.

Some favorite moments were camping at the Provincial Park on Lake Nipigon, 300 camp sites and only three were used the day we were there. We had our own private camp site. White River Camp – we were treated to Northern Lights all night long – great memory. One last memory – anniversary day spent on Mackinac Island. The lake and all of its beaches are always changing. We have been connected to the lake since our honeymoon. The Circle Tour is a true treasure and I recommend it to all my friends to do sometime in their life. I would love to display a sticker so that others might think about the same tour.
