Great Scenery

My husband and I have been to Lake Superior five times, beginning in September 2005. During that trip with my brother and sister-in-law, we stayed in Michigan, visiting Sault Ste. Marie, Tahquamenon Falls, Munising and Copper Harbor among other places. We especially enjoyed going through the locks in Sault Ste. Marie and the boat ride to see Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Favorite Spots Were in Thunder Bay

We completed the Lake Superior Circle Tour from July 11-15, 2016. Our favorite spots were the two days we spent in Thunder Bay touring Fort William, Amethyst Mine Panorama and Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. Being from Minnesota, we had already toured the North Shore between Duluth and Grand Portage several times, so it was great to see Lake Superior the rest of the way around! The second area was past Thunder Bay. It was just a More

Which part of the lake offered you the friendliest welcome? Elliot Lake, Ontario. We had More
