Circling the Pond

This is our first long adventure with our “new” Little Guy teardrop-style camper. We enjoyed being off the ground, dry and warm during the mostly damp days of June 24 – July 7. Our major interests were fly fishing, canoeing and finding EarthCaches, but the tour guide led us to other treasures including many well-done visitor center displays. Our tour began in Grand Marais, Minnesota, where we spent two nights at More

A Wonderful Trip!

We did the Lake Superior Circle Tour from July 3-12, 2015. What an awesome trip! It is so hard to pick favorites. Loved the view of Split Rock Lighthouse from afar. Watching climbers at Palisades Cliffs. Grand Marais was a cute little town (great meal at The Angry Trout). We saw a bear on the Gunflint Trail. High Falls and Kakabeka Falls were just the beginning of many beautiful falls. More

Put It on Your Bucket List

We started out in Minnesota on July 11, 2014, and stopped at Gooseberry Falls for some pictures and a break. We then proceeded to Thunder Bay, Ontario, and stayed in a hotel for the evening. We took lots of pictures along the way. And the scenery was great. The next day we went to an amethyst mine and purchased a couple of items which is nice and got some more pictures. More

Certainly Will Go Again

We just got back four days ago from completing the tour on our motorcycle. What a beautiful trip! Our favorite spots had to be all of the waterfalls we saw. We even got to see a mother bear with two cubs and got pictures, it was amazing. Learned about the birthplace of Winnie the Pooh, never knew. We did a lot of exploring trails and scenic turnoffs. Met a lot More

Already Talking About Another Trip!

My husband Mark and I completed the Circle Tour July 19. We began at Sault Ste. Marie and absolutely loved the experience. The scenery is breathtaking. We traveled with our dog and small camper. We stayed at the National park, private, city, state and national forest campgrounds, each with its own uniqueness and beauty. Kakabeka Falls, the Apostle Islands, Ouimet Canyon, the moose, bear and birds we saw made this More

It Was an Awesome Trip!

We would like to join the Circle Tour Club! We left St. Louis, Missouri, on June 22 and just returned home today on July 5. We drove almost exactly 3,000 miles and our stops were: Porcupine Mountains: two nights, camped, hiked. Munising: three nights, stayed in a rental property. Pictured Rocks cruise, waterfalls, bikes on Grand Island. Pancake Bay Provincial Park: three nights, stayed in yurts on beach, great fishing. More

The Whole Trip Was Outstanding

My friend and I just completed the Circle Tour today, we left St. Paul on Wednesday and headed north towards Thunder Bay. This was my first big trip on motorcycle and had no idea on what to expect. I always think any trip north starts as you enter the tunnel at Silver Creek. Trip was now on. The north shore was socked in with rain as we headed towards Canada. More

True Wilderness

We would like to join the Circle Tour Club. My husband and I drove the Lake Superior Circle Tour in June 2013 and loved it! We started our Circle Tour in Michigan. We drove the tour in our Miata with the top down all but one day, weather was in the 60s and 70s with only a little rain. Nights were chilly but we were cozy in our tent! I More

Highly Recommend to Anyone

I would like to join the Lake Superior Circle Tour Club. Both my wife and I decided to drive part way across Canada. But when looking at the maps we decided that we would drive around Lake Superior as part of this adventure. We only found out about your club when we were in Duluth. We live in Riverview, New Brunswick, and took 10 days to get to Sault Ste. More
