A Wonderful Trip!

We did the Lake Superior Circle Tour from July 3-12, 2015. What an awesome trip! It is so hard to pick favorites. Loved the view of Split Rock Lighthouse from afar. Watching climbers at Palisades Cliffs. Grand Marais was a cute little town (great meal at The Angry Trout). We saw a bear on the Gunflint Trail. High Falls and Kakabeka Falls were just the beginning of many beautiful falls. More

We Loved All of It

We have just completed our first circle tour of Lake Superior. It has been in two parts. Summer 2012: we traveled in Michigan from Sault Ste. Marie to Copper Harbor, over a period of about 8 days. Spectacular

The whole Circle Tour was spectacular! Some favorites were: South – Amnicon Falls and Pattison State Park. Ashland, Wisconsin – Second Street Bistro was fabulous. Fresh heirloom tomatoes and veggies. Michigan – Keweenaw Peninsula, Shipwreck Museum, Whitefish Point Bird Observatory, Pictured Rock Cruises. Tahquamenon Falls. Ontario – Agawa Rocks, Aguasabon Falls and Gorge.
