It Was an Awesome Trip!

We would like to join the Circle Tour Club! We left St. Louis, Missouri, on June 22 and just returned home today on July 5. We drove almost exactly 3,000 miles and our stops were:

Porcupine Mountains: two nights, camped, hiked.

Munising: three nights, stayed in a rental property. Pictured Rocks cruise, waterfalls, bikes on Grand Island.

Pancake Bay Provincial Park: three nights, stayed in yurts on beach, great fishing.

Rainbow Falls Provincial Park: two nights, camped, great fishing, canoed, amazing waterfall.

Thunder Bay/Sleeping Giant: camped two nights, went sailing on Lake Superior out of Thunder Bay – amazing!

Two Harbors, Minnesota: for lunch on way home, visited lighthouse.

It was an awesome trip! We camped much of it which was great, but we were completely bitten up by the mosquitos in Canada on our face and necks. I would recommend anyone camping to buy a head net when hiking or sitting by the camp fire. Otherwise, it was a beautiful trip! The scenery and lake were spectacular! We saw a black bear, deer, fox and heard the loons many nights as we sat by the campfire.

We picked up your free map and guide when we were in the Porcupine Mountains and really used the map to help us navigate and see points of interest!
