So Beautiful

Started from Duluth and went up into Canada. We rode in some rain coming into Ironwood, Michigan, and ended up staying at Budget Host there, 447 West U.S. Hwy 2. Kevin & Sherri Cox were soooo accommodating!!! And their beds … let’s just say “we slept like babies.” Definitely would go back there! We also stayed at another very relaxing place called Superior Rentals in Bayfield, Wisconsin. It is a wonderful More

Our Circle Tour

Monday, July 11-Tuesday, July 18, 2011. Our Lake Superior Circle Tour began with a very strategic stop at the Lake Superior Magazine (LSM) office (310 E. I Completed the Tour

I am browsing on your website which was linked on the Goldwing Rider’s website. I’ve seen your magazine many times while in Duluth or Sault Ste. Marie, but had not completed the Circle Tour until last summer. Please add me to the list of Circle Tour members and send me the decal. I completed the tour in July 2011 on a Goldwing motorcycle. By the way, I’m leaving home next More

The sun ruled supreme otherwise. In fact, thanks to Ontario’s Eastern Daylight Time zone, the sun didn’t set More

Everyone Was So Friendly

My stepmom and I just completed the tour of Lake Superior. We traveled for six days last summer (2010) and five days this summer (2011). In 2010, we started on Minnesota’s North Shore at Palisade Head. We went from there to Thunder Bay, Ontario. We drove to Sault Ste. Marie and then made a side trip to Mackinac Island from St. Ignace. After that, we drove to the Shipwreck Museum More
