You Gotta Make This Trip!

Four of us made the Circle Tour on our motorcycles in early August 2009. We took 4-1/2 days to do it, but I would plan for longer so you can see plenty of sights. We started in Ashland, Wisconsin, and went counterclockwise. The weather was nice with only three hours of rain the entire trip. Whitefish Point has some good sights to see. Completed It Twice Now

We completed Circle Tours in 2002 (I believe) and 2009. Both of these were travel trailer camping trips. We love the Finnish shopping District (Algoma St.) in Thunder Bay, Neys Provincial Park with their WWII Prisoner of War Camp Museum and loved the camping along the St. Marys River in Sault Ste. Marie, US side. Henry & Sheri Djerlev, Hibbing, MN

I completed the tour on a BMW R1200RT in August 2009, starting and ending in Ironwood, Michigan. I was particularly impressed with the Winnie-the-Pooh story in White River. I hope to ride it again sometime. Kenneth Neher, More

Our favorite section was the north shore of Minnesota. The cycling was great, the state parks More
